Mix It Up With Matcha
In this crazy thing we call life, it seems we’re all searching for the same things: health, happiness, and that extra kick of energy to make it all happen. Perfectly fitting the bill is matcha. Matcha is a stone-ground green tea that packs in more antioxidants than any superfood (15x the antioxidants than blueberries!), has been proven to fight depression and relieve anxiety, and offers a long and steady boost of energy without the “caffeine crash”. So skip the espresso and mix things up with a matcha latte!
Ingredients
- 1 tsp Matcha Superior
- ¾ cups of milk
- Squirt of vanilla syrup (optional)
Directions
- Whisk matcha in 4 oz of hot water
- Heat milk in microwave
- Froth
- Add matcha to milk
- Add vanilla syrup if desired
- Sprinkle with matcha
- Indulge!
Pro tip: if you don’t have a frother, shake warm milk vigorously in a glass container until foamy.
