Also known as Black Dragon Pearls or Dragon Pearls, this tea originates in the Yunnan province of China. The highest quality black tealeaves are expertly hand-rolled into uniform pearls to bring you a naturally sweet, smooth tasting tea with an underlying earthy flavour. Infuse this tea multiple times, and notice that as the pearls unfold, so will a new dimension of flavour.

I love Black Pearls, and have had them from a few places, and I am just as impressed with these ones. Maybe moreso since they’re easier to order right here in Canada. 😀
I steeped 3 pearls, and gave it 4 minutes. The result was a nice bright brew with chocolate and honey notes, and a smooth finish. It was delicious.
I got caught up with other things for a bit and when I came back to finish my cup half an hour later, the brew was still smooth and delightful – not bitter at all! I would definitely re-order this forgiving and delicious tea.
