Perhaps one of the most underrated benefits of mint is that it’s a great palate cleanser and promotes digestion. Cool and crisp, mint is great after an indulgent meal or to even freshen your breath before that big date. This tea has a refreshing scent and aromatic flavour. Cool mint offers a fresh, light taste, while black and red currants offer a sweet and slightly tart twist.

The other reviews are accurate – it is interesting! If you are really into mint tea and you are looking for a twist this is probably for you. The black currant lingers on your tongue along with the coolness of the mint – not to mention you can smell both aspects before taking your sip. It can come off a little bit bitter at times so maybe be careful with your steeping time. If you are not a huge mint fan (like me – hence the 4 star rating) you might want to try something else.

Very different flavour, not for me. The combination is very interesting, just a touch too strong for my liking. Wouldn’t purchase again, but if you enjoy strong flavours try this.
